Chance Clifton lived big. He laughed big. Most of all, he loved big. Chance was abundantly fun, full of life, and always adventurous. Because of Chance’s big heart and zest for life, The Chance Clifton LIVE BIG Foundation has been established to help others live big, too. Chance's big life is the reason this foundation exists, but make no mistake, Christ is right at the center of it. Because there's only ONE number 1 that counts.

Chance's football number, #1, is symbolic in many ways. Chance believed that there was 1 LIFE, 1 GOD, and just 1 CHANCE to get it right. He believed life on earth was meant to be truly lived. Through this foundation, Chance's life will continue to impact people, encouraging all of us to love God and LIVE BIG! Because the biggest life of all is yet to come.

Join us on the greens of Diamond Oaks Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas as we honor Chance's big life on November 3, 2014.   Proceeds from the Second Annual Chance Clifton LIVE BIG Golf Tournament will go to educational scholarships. But Chance wouldn’t want to leave it at that. He’d want to go beyond the classroom and straight into life. So to honor Chance’s big life, proceeds will also go to Chance Clifton’s LIVE BIG Adventures, which will provide people a chance to live bigger, and better, when they need it most.

God Bless all the wonderful supporters who participated, volunteered, and gave to LIVE BIG.

Our first 4-man scramblelunch, dinner and auction had a glorious day filled with laughs, hugs, tears, joy, and fun. Thank you for honoring Chance.

Diamond Oaks is an 18-hole championship golf course which features a creek that meanders throughout the property and comes into play on six holes. Strategic bunkering and 100-year old tree-lined fairways provide beauty for all golfers and guests. The golf course is named after a 150 year-old Oak Tree which still resides on hole number 15. Come honor Chance’s big life and help us make a difference for others.

Scholarships 2015

Live Big Foundation has established a scholarship to help fund post-graduate education.

The LIVE BIG Foundation celebrated Chance's birthday by giving seven scholarships.  The winners included Nick Dusak, Moises Correa, Will Petermann, Macey Hampton, Ty Engelhardt, Hunter Smiley, and Micah Lutz.   See Media tab for pictures and News tab.

The Chance Clifton LIVE BIG Foundation is a Christ-centered organization inspired by the life of Chance Clifton. In Chance’s all-too-short 17 years he lived more than many people do in decades. In an effort to both honor the memory of a short life well-lived and to inspire other high school seniors to Live Big, the Foundation has established a scholarship to help fund post-graduate education. These scholarships will be no less than $2500 to be awarded directly to the institution of higher learning attended by the recipient.  Applications will be available in December.
