LIVE BIG was instrumental in helping finance my college education. Lessening the financial burden of college allowed me to focus more keenly on my coursework, develop meaningful relationships, and create lasting memories during my time at UT. Embarking on a new chapter of your life can be unfamiliar and nerve-wracking. The support of LIVE BIG reminded me of my community at home, and of my friends and family cheering me on every step of the way. Because of the generosity of LIVE BIG, I was able to graduate college debt free, start my career at Oracle in Austin, and live with a spirit of humility.

LIVE BIG has played a huge part in my life. LIVE BIG is one of the earliest examples in my life of seeing God work to turn tragedy and pain into love and purpose. I think often of the strength and resiliency of the Clifton family and of my Birdville community. 10 years ago our community was tested and shaken with the loss of Chance, yet we chose to come together to love and support one another. I bore witness to God's mercy and character from the strength He gave the Cliftons and our community to press on. LIVE BIG reminds me of the short time we have on this earth, and the urgency of which we must be incredibly thoughtful of how we live each day. We have one life, we serve One God, and have one Chance to Live Big. That spirit is never lost on me. I'm grateful to The Live Big Foundation for their support, and send my love tenfold to the Clifton family & my Birdville community in perpetuity.

Texas A&M

The Live Big Scholarship helped me attend Texas A&M University, where I received my BBA in Finance. Live Big has given me the opportunity to live my life in a big way while being reminded of how big Chance lived his life. Chance’s life serves as a reminder of how precious time is, and how God uses all circumstances for His good and glory. The Live Big Foundation has impacted my life by its display of care for others. Whether it is through providing scholarships, or loving on people in ways that are unseen, the Live Big Foundation is making a difference in lives and leaving Chance’s fingerprint on the hearts of many.
